Laser cleaners

Laser cleaners remove rust, paint, varnish, oxides, grease and other deposits without chemicals, sand or abrasives. We offer pulsed laser cleaners 100–500 W for precision work and delicate surfaces, and continuous (CW) laser cleaners 2000–6000 W for fast cleaning of large areas – in handheld, backpack and mobile trolley versions. Prices from 8 165 € excl. VAT.

How does laser cleaning work?

A laser beam hits the contamination, which absorbs the energy and evaporates or flakes off the substrate. By selecting the power and pulse parameters, you remove the desired layer – rust, paint or deposit – while the material underneath remains undamaged. No abrasives to clean up or chemicals to dispose of.

Pulsed or continuous (CW) laser cleaner?

Pulsed laser cleaner

Short pulses with high energy remove contamination with minimal heating of the substrate. This is the choice for precision work: moulds, machine parts, thin sheets, aluminium, restoration and maintenance of heritage objects – anywhere the surface cannot be frosted or overheated. We offer models 100–500 W, including handheld and backpack versions for field work. See pulsed laser cleaners.

Continuous (CW) laser cleaner

A continuous-duty source of 2000–6000 W power quickly removes heavy rust, paint and coatings from steel structures and large surfaces. It delivers more heat than a pulsed laser, so it works best on solid steel elements where efficiency is key. See continuous laser cleaners.

Applications

  • Industry – surface preparation for welding, painting and bonding, cleaning of moulds and machine parts.
  • Automotive – selective removal of coatings and corrosion from bodies, welded structures and components.
  • Restoration and heritage conservation – removal of dirt and coatings from metal, stone and wood without abrasion. Read how this works in practice.
  • Infrastructure maintenance and services – cleaning of structures, technical equipment and facades, also as a service for clients.

What to consider when buying?

  • Type of source and power – pulsed for precision and delicate substrates, continuous for efficiency on steel.
  • Design – handheld and backpack for field work, mobile trolley for workshop and hall.
  • Head and fibre optic cable – a lightweight head (from 650 g in our models) and longer fibre cable make extended work away from the source easier.
  • Cooling – air cooling in compact models, water cooling with high power and continuous operation.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a laser cleaner cost?

Laser cleaners in our range cost from 8 165 € excl. VAT. Price depends on the type of source (pulsed or continuous CW), power, design and equipment.

Does a laser cleaner damage the cleaned surface?

With correctly selected parameters, the laser removes contamination while the substrate remains undamaged. For delicate and thin materials, a pulsed laser cleaner is chosen, which minimises heating of the surface.

What does a laser cleaner remove?

Rust, paint, varnish, oxides, grease, oil, deposits and other coatings from metal, and in conservation applications also dirt from stone and wood.

Pulsed or continuous – which one to choose?

Choose pulsed for precision work, aluminium, thin parts and restoration. Choose continuous (CW) for fast removal of heavy rust and paint from steel structures and large surfaces.

Does laser cleaning require chemicals or abrasives?

No. Laser cleaning requires no sand, shot or chemicals, so there are no waste materials to dispose of apart from the removed contamination.
