The Smart Laser QCW (Quasi-Continuous Wave) laser welding machine is an advanced class 4 industrial machine designed for precision welding and professional repair of injection moulds. QCW technology combines the advantages of pulsed and continuous operation, offering high peak power at a lower average power.
The result is deep material penetration, a minimal heat-affected zone and lower operating costs.
QCW technology – the advantage over classic welding machines
High peak power, low average power
The machine achieves peak power of up to 1500W at an average power of 300–700W. This makes it possible to achieve deep material penetration with limited heating of the workpiece.
Stable and precise fibre beam
The high-quality laser beam makes it possible to obtain a spot diameter of 0.2 to 3 mm, which translates into very precise weld guidance and high energy density.
Minimal material distortion
Pulsed mode limits heat spread, making it possible to weld thin materials (even 0.1–0.8 mm) without the risk of deformation or cracking.

Specialisation – injection mould repair
The QCW welding machine has been optimised for mould repair, making it much more efficient than classic pulsed welding machines.
• greater welding depth – durable and solid joints
• full fusion without pores or structural defects
• neat repair marks
• ability to work on precision parts
No consumables
No flash lamps means no replacement and maintenance costs, which significantly reduces operating costs.
Advanced equipment and working precision
3D arm and full head mobility
• 360° horizontal rotation
• vertical adjustment and tilt
• ability to work on large moulds without moving them
Microscope and CCD system
Precise observation and positioning of the welding point, ideal for working with small and demanding parts.
Three-dimensional work table
• working range: 610–810 mm
• precision linear guides
• load capacity up to 50 kg
• electric height adjustment
Gas shielding
Welding under shielding gas (argon or nitrogen) ensures better weld quality and preserves the colour of the material.

Advanced cooling and operational stability
The dual-temperature, dual-controlled chiller ensures:
• stable operation at high power
• optimal conditions for the laser source and optics
• extended component life
An additional lens cooling system protects the optics during intensive use.
Intuitive operation and control
• 7-inch touch screen
• easy adjustment of welding parameters
• ability to save working programmes
• fast switching between settings
The system has been designed so that the operator can quickly achieve repeatable, high-quality results.
Advantages over traditional pulsed welding machines
• no consumables
• lower energy consumption (approx. 4.5 kW)
• greater operational stability
• deeper material penetration
• better weld quality and appearance
• optics protection thanks to cooling
• ability to work on very thin materials
Expansion and automation options
• integration with automated systems
• cooperation with sensors and detection systems
• option to use pneumatic clamps
• easy integration with production lines
The modular design makes it possible to adapt the machine to specific production needs.

Applications of the QCW welding machine
• tool shops – injection mould repair
• electronics industry – precision components
• jewellery – jewellery repair
• laboratories – research and prototyping
• medical sector – surgical instruments

5 (231)Profesjonalna i kompleksowa obsługa klienta na najwyższym poziomie.
